"Wow!!" is how Sarah Joy reacted when she discovered her brand new hypnotherapy site was on PAGE ONE of Google after only 8 weeks.
Sarah was my first hypnotherapist client and when I asked her about showcasing her website here, she was delighted. In her words, "it's a great idea. The more people who benefit from hypnotherapy the better - it's safe, non-invasive and very effective!"
Here's what Sarah wrote on 6 March 2010 when she found her site on the front page of Google search results...
Wow!! I'm on page one for Perth, as well as Kalamunda and Perth Hills. That's fantastic. Don't know how you managed that but I'm delighted.
Now Sarah Joy, BHSc (Hons), PDC Hyp, D. Hyp (Dist), MBSCH, is not new to hypnotherapy. She's had a decade of clinical experience and a successful practice in the UK before migrating to Kalamunda which is about 25 kilometres inland from Perth, the capital city of Western Australia.
But having arrived in WA as an unknown... with no customers, she had to build her new business up from scratch.
What better way to do that than to use the Internet.
So she registered the name SarahJoyHypnotherapy.com and commissioned a web designer to produce an attractive new website.
YOU'VE ALSO GOT TO GET FOUND.
SARAH KNEW THAT SHE NEEDED TO BE ON PAGE 1 OF GOOGLE.
So, as more and more people do these days, she turned to the Internet and found my site at GetOnGooglePageOne.com.
Result?
8 weeks later, guess whose brand new Australian site is on PAGE ONE ?
Yep, that's exactly right... our Sarah.
Well, that that was March 2010. Here we are three months later (I'm writing this in June) with a handful of screenshots I took from Google a few days ago, for a whole bunch of related search terms.
Okay, it's quite a BIG handful of screenshots... do please forgive my enthusiasm. I get as excited as my clients do. In fact, every time I see the "page one magic" has worked one more time, I do tend to get excited.
Back to the screenshots, you'll see that they are all page one but for various different search terms... the kind of words that customers are typing into Google.
I hope I didnt overdo it with the yellow paintbrush but I did want some way to make the search terms stand out as you scroll through the site.
(Hey, I can get lost easily -- just ask my wife -- and I didnt want that to happen to you. Not if I can help it anyway.)
Ready?
Me too, so here we go...
Clinical Hypnotherapist Kalamunda

Clinical Hypnotherapy Kalamunda

Kalamunda, where Sarah lives now, is situated at the foot of the Perth Hills. It's the main centre for the Shire of Kalamunda where about 55,000 people live. Not a big population, I admit, but it is Sarah's local community - and she's right up there at the top of Google page 1. Check out these search results for Kalamunda hypnotherapy and a bunch of related terms.
Perth is a major city 25 kilometres away. It's home to 1.5 million people. It's also where I was born and grew up, but that's another story. So let me just show you how Sarah's doing in the search results for Perth hypnotherapy... where the competition is a lot stronger.
Naturally, before I know anything about your business and the Google competition you're up against, I cannot guarantee page one and I cannot guarantee 8 weeks, but if you send me your details, I will investigate the strength of competition we have to beat to get your business onto the first page of Google's search results -- and I will give you a truthful response.
If I cant do it, I will tell you.
If I believe I can get you on page 1, I will give you a price that is lower than a long list of other SEO professionals. SEO, by the way, stands for Search Engine Optimization which is the art/science of giving the search engines what they want... so they will give you what you want.
And what's that?
You want to see YOUR NAME on the FIRST PAGE of Google when customers are trying to find a clinical hypnotherapist in your area, right?
